‘Of the two definitions above, the second one relates more to the content of this exhibition, although I do feel a connection with Greece having been awarded a travelling scholarship to Crete while at Glasgow School of Art and have been back to paint and draw there on a number of occasions. The definition ‘relatively isolated pastoral’ most certainly applies to where I live in Ayrshire.
The works in this exhibition were all painted within a few hundred yards radius of my studio as it has not been possible for me to venture further afield in recent times. Being surrounded by a pastoral landscape and our bountiful garden has offered me a unique version of my Arcadia from which this exhibition was created.’

Summer 2021
In this two person exhibition at The Table art gallery in Hay-on-Wye, Glen and daughter Kim will be showing new work featuring garden landscapes and still life subjects. The exhibition will run from 10th - 31st of July 2021.
Glen is currently exhibiting in a group show at the Ballater Gallery.

BACK with BLACK
'This exhibition is Scouller's 50th solo show since leaving the Glasgow School of Art in 1973
For various reasons it is also a small landmark for the artist, as more than three decades ago he made the conscious decision to remove black from his palette. Painting in warm exotic locations this seemed an obvious choice. However nothing stands still and after much reflection and turning his attention to subject matter closer to home he has decided to reintroduce black into the mix.
To his delight this has opened up a whole panoply of new sonorous colours and moods. Painting his family and immediate surroundings we are excited to see where this painterly journey may eventually lead.'

Like a Moth to a Flame - Drawn to the Light

This is Scouller's first solo exhibition in five years at the Roger Billcliffe Gallery. The exhibition includes watercolours from recent trips to Portugal, St.Abbs (a small fishing village in south east Scotland) and a number of bold studio still lives.
The exhibition will have around fifty-five new paintings in both watercolour and oils.
The painting 'The Night Owl' was short listed for the Ruth Borchard Painting Prize 2015 and is currently on display in London until the 9th October 2015.

Glen, Carol, Kim & Lara Scouller are having a group exhibition at Gallery 1, The Crinan Gallery, Crinan Hotel, by Lochgilphead, Argyll, PA31 8SR.
The exhibition will run from Sunday 17th May - Wednesday 1st July 2015
Scouller is taking part in a group show at the Gullane Art Gallery in Gullane, south of Edinburgh.
Also taking part are Jacqueline Orr RGI, Angela Lawrence and Alan Reed. The exhibition is entitled 'Promise of Spring' and runs from 7th till 29th March 2015.
